A night in Cinderella's castle

I was just wondering if anyone on the boards here have actually won it. If they have would they mind telling us a little about the entire experience.

I don't know anything about how you can win a night there.Can someone explain what to do?Can you only win by being picked at the park itself,while there?Is there another way?Please....let me know......................I can't stand it!..............I've got to know.............Somebody help me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

well each day a random location is selceted out in any of the wdw parks and the dream teams job is to go to that location at a specific time and pick out a family to spend the night in the castle the family is then allowed to pack up their belonings get a tour of the suite and become grand marshals of the parade in the MK thats all the info i know so if anyone knows more than me or if im incorrect feel free to help me out

Ugh! There was someone who posted who spent the night in the castle and she shared her experience, but I can't seem to find the thread! Maybe someone remembers it and can post the link?

My friend works for Disney Store UK, she says you can't win it if you work for Disney in any capacity, in any country.

I said to my husband that if, by some miracle, we were selected it would be on the day we fly home but he said he'd heard the Disney team have to make it happen even if that means paying to change your flight for you....

Still hoping but it's never going to be me, I'm just not that lucky!

We were there last week and won two things from the Dream Team. Alas, not the castle stay... but...

1) Dream Fastpasses in Disney Hollywood Studios - We were entering The Great Movie Ride when they handed them out to about 3 families.

2) Tickets to Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party with VIP parade seating! Now THAT was cool. Here's how it went down.

We were walking past the Indiana Jones show at DHS when I noticed a little thematic area with a rope going down into a mine shaft on the side of the walkway. A sign said "Do Not Pull the Rope", but the "Not" was crossed out. Thinking I was going to get sprayed with water, I had my father pull it. Right when he did, the Dream Team came out from a little pathway where they were waiting.

They asked us where we were from and whether or not anyone in our family worked for Disney. After answering these simple questions they told us about our prize. Then we were escorted to a room within Guest Relations were we had to do a bit of paperwork. It was quite a lot of fun actually.

They gave us drinks, the party tickets, stickers for the kids, and big Dream buttons to wear. We were told that we would be watching the Christmas parade from VIP seats on the Liberty Square bridge along with the castle suite winners. We *did* watch the parade from that location, but the castle winners never showed up. Hmmm...

Every single one of the parade characters gave some recognition to us (especially the kids) in that seating area. It was very cool.

your right they cannot win but they can stay in the suite with friends, if they happen to win... its in the blog on allears.

We didn't win the prize of staying at the castle. We did however get to see the family one day right after they had won. They were in Pecos Bills and filling out all the paperwork. One of the kids had won. However it was the adults that were so excited! It was so wonderful to see all of there happy excited faces. They were calling everyone they knew to let them know what had happend. Will never forget that moment. And I didn't even win.
