    Kali River Rapids

Hi everyone! I was just curious as to whether or not anyone knew the names of the rafts on Kali River Rapids. I know one of them is "Baloo Me Away", so I was just curious what other play on words they have. Any help would be great! Thanks a lot!

Oh man, that takes me way back! I worked Kali for a year in 2002, but I honestly cannot recall the names of the rafts. We never referred to them by names, only by numbers. If they have individual names, then that might be something new since I left Kali.

I don't know all of them, but according to Wikipedia the names include "Banyan Bay", Kali Bumper Car", "Manaslu Slammer", and "Sherpa Surfer".

That helps out! Thanks a lot! I am actually thinking during my next visit I'll see if one of the cast members that works there has a list, but that really helps me out a lot! Thank you!

I thought I remember seeing a list of the names in the queue on the wall of the last room before you get to the loading station, or they could be made up names like we have at the Jungle under sunken boats and lost people

I have always wondered - how much to you REALLY get wet on this ride?
I've avoided it since I didn't want to walk around soaked all day long...

Not much. Usually a couple of people would get soaked if lucky, the rest may get a couple splashes but nothing major.

If you want a good soaking, go visit Popeye's Bilge Rat Barges at IOA, every seat will soak you from head to toe

When I went, I rode it three times. It's not that bad, but I did bring a change of clothes so I could get out of my wet stuff right after I rode it. I would probably reccomend riding it at the end of the day, though, so you could just go back to your resort and change, so you don't have to lug clothes around all day.

When we went this past October two of us in our party got absolutely drenched!! Just happened to hit the bottom of a drop just right and we were soaked to the bone. Took a lot of wringing out, standing under the hand dryers in a restroom and standing in the sun to finally dry off. I was still a bit damp at the end of the day. So - all I can say is you never know - I had never gotten that wet on Kali before!!
