the Passporter guide people have a lanyard with a pouch for passes and fastpasses. I think they have the people at Cafe Press make them

    OK, folks, here's the deal:

I've been working on getting some pricing for a lanyard with a bulldog or swivel clip (like the Disney lanyards) and clear plastic holder. Inside the holder, you would be able to put your custom DisneyWorldTrivia.com card (which you can download and print on your own, and will have the DWT logo, and you will be able to add your name, user ID, etc.).

The lanyard will also be able to hold your pins, as it will likely be 3/4" or 1" (depending on price, etc.)

The holder may also (if possible) have a closure of some type (like a Ziploc bag), so you can store your WDW ticket, Fastpasses, etc. Otherwise it will just be a top-loading holder (I use one now without a zip and it still keeps my tickets safe and dry), as I'm trying to make these as economical as possible, (with also as little expense for me up front). Right now, it seems that the zip closures are too small and expensive.

    What do you all think?

zip-top like closures tend to stop working after awhile and are "magnets" for dust and small food particles for the messy eater
It might be better to have a cloth strip much like the Passporter ones

Understood, and I don't think they're completely necessary.

See attached images for lanyard sample and holder

if anybody wants to see me in the parks, look for one or two of the following.

A Baseball cap: (Usually it's one of the following three) Nitro Fish Racing/Colorado Rockies/Star Wars Hat "Freeze You Rebel Scum"

A Grey Hooded Jacket either on me or around my waist

    An NYPD backpack
All the people will look up and shout: "Save us!" and I'll whisper...'no'.

    Who watches the watchmen?

The lanyard is a pretty good idea, but it's doubtful that I'd get one with the pouch... When we're in the parks, I tend to have a camera bag, water/gatorade bottle, tripod, mini-pod, equipment pouch, and/or a GPS device strapped to my body somewhere.

...So if you wanna find me, just look for a pack-mule.

However, if the lanyard is adjustable in size I would probably get one to wear around my waist as another equipment harness.

Keep me posted on decisions, I would gladly buy a lanyard and holder and keep my cards in it. I need something like that anyway, my kids swiped my lanyard...... I am going in June and if this is set before then, I'll buy it!
I am in need of some Disney magic!!

Like it, Lou. I've used a pouch w/o a zipper or closure on top (got it years ago when Disney Club did a 'VIP Guest' promotion) and didn't have trouble with stuff falling out or getting wet. I'd recommend the vertical rather than horizontal pouch.

The puch at the end would be removable, so you could theoretically put a water bottle, camera, etc. at the end of it.

And yes, I was going for the vertical minds (what did I say about great minds again...??)

Pal Mickey hangs really well on a lanyard, too....sling it over your shoulder instead of around your neck and he rides at your side. :mickey:

Stitch... not at all!! In fact, I think we're thinking about the same type of thing! Still working on the details, but let's keep in touch.
