Thank you for posting those! I leave for Disney in a couple days and Im really looking forward to checking out the AIE. It looks like so much fun!
Hi Everyone,
I had a chance to attend The American Idol Experience at the Disney Hollywood Studios on Saturday, February 7, 2009. Overall it was fun - although not, in my opinion, an 'super' attraction. I do recommend that you check it out.
Here are some pictures from the show:

You know I really don't like or watch the TV show, but I know my wife and daughter do. My 8 year old DS is also not a fan of the show. Looks like a godd opportunity to drop off DW and 2 DDs while the man-cub and I look for more manly things like an ice cream and Star Tours.
The judges at this final were a bit less "Hollywood" looking than the judges that were there on the 5th. I will have to make time to attend a final just to see what that is like. I hear a contestant sang Bohemian Rhapsody which left the audience doubting that he could pull it off. When he nailed it, he ended up winning.

What will you celebrate?
Adult daycare for the kid inside you.
On that particular day - February 7 - a gentleman did sign Bohemian Rhapsody. The crowd actually let out an audible gasp when the host announced that he was going to sing that particular song. It's a difficult song. He did a good job, but he did not win.
A red-haired lady won after singing Independence Day. You can see her in the final picture above enjoying the confetti and celebrating her win.
