Re: Who else bought their MNSSHP tix today?!?

Just got our tickets, too. It's our first time for a hard ticket event, can't wait to go. We've never gone in September before, my DW is a teacher and she never wanted to be off early in the school year before.

I didn't physically receive them, but did buy them. What was a "what if" idea starting with a an Xmas travel package I saw last December has become a DW weekend with free dining and MNSSHP. Not too bad considering this wil be only my second trip and we have a full week planned next May!

Re: Who else bought their MNSSHP tix today?!?

So we just got our tickets and I have a question.

This is our first time going to a hard ticket event so I'm curious if we have to leave the park for an hour while they redecorate the park.

If not, is it better to leave anyways so you can walk right into the atmosphere at 7 as oppose to being there as they are getting ready?

I was just wondering what was the best strategy.

I haven't bought my tickets yet. I most likely will wait until I'm in FL to get them. I don't know if I will dress up, but if I do I probably will go as a pirate.

No. In the past, people with just party tickets could get into the MK at 4pm. Most likely they will do the same in the Fall for mnsshp.

Re: Who else bought their MNSSHP tix today?!?

I ordered ours the day they went on sale and just got them in the mail today! Wife was a little disappointed that the tickets aren't Halloween themed. They look just like regular park tickets and she wanted to scrapbook them on a Halloween themed page. This is also our first hard ticket event!

We thought the same thing when we got ours last year. We got the the park in the afternoon sometime. When the park closes for everyone else, they told us to go to a designated area of the park, an area right before Tomorrow Land, where they check your MNSSHP tickets and give you a wristband. The wristband you can scrapbook. Have fun! The fireworks were our favorite!

I am excited to see the park with all of the decorations but I am pumped that I get to see the ride of the Headless Horseman, the awesome Parade and hearing the tale of Ichabod Crane as told by the Town Crier!

Main Street looks really nice. We'll be there the first week of Sept. The first night of the party is the 4th so I think we might get to see the decorations up.
