Haunted Mansion WiFi?

Last year I think I read that there was a way to "take a ghost away with you" from the Haunted Mansion if you had a WiFi enabled phone or Nintendo DS.

Not seen anything else about it since so am wondering if it was a proposal for possible development by Disney or its a reality now and folk do it all the time?

I have not heard of this before. I know that Disney did some tests with a Nintendo DS-based interactive park system, but it wasn't something for use with just any old DS (they were special ones that you could not keep), but nothing seemed to come of it.

Also Verizon and Disney announced something that would work on Verizon phones, but nothing so far on that either.
