Your Future....for Free!

I don't know if anyone has tried this, but here's a great way to get a cool keepsake courtesy of Spaceship Earth. If you do not want a spoiler of the ride, I would advise not reading any further, although I'll do my best to keep this as spoiler free as possible.

At the beginning of the ride, photos are taken of you and your fellow passenger. At the end of the ride, there is an interactive portion using the vehicle's touchscreen that utilizes the images to create a video of you and "Your Future." When you get off the ride, you can go to a kiosk and find a still shot taken from the video. The kiosk gives you the option of sending the image to two email addresses you provide. I sent one to my own address, and when we returned from vacation, the email had a link to the complete video presented at the end of the ride! The video is over a minute long, and it is in Quicktime format. If you have Quicktime Pro, you can save the video on your computer. From there you can burn it to a DVD, etc.

It would be cool if we all posted our "Futures" somewhere!
