Are you sure that just wasn't the new remote animatronic Aaron Heron, or ... Eatit Egrit?
(shows you how much I know about birds!)

Re: Weirdest thing seen at WDW

my wife and I were walking along the bridge at the CBR when we met up with the biggest racoon I have ever seen ...... in the mean time another couple was walking up from the other side so he (the racoon) had nowhere to go......So we all froze and went into kinda like an old west shoot out stance for about 30 sec. then the racoon jumped up on the hand rail and cannon balled into the water

Re: Weirdest thing seen at WDW

Well, maybe this has been seen (truth be told I haven't finished reading all of the posts in this thread) but just the other day I noticed a good number of turkeys roaming the grassy area near the golf course by the Grand Floridian.

Far stranger though was an experience a few years ago. Walking near the Mexico pavilion my friend and I observed a woman pick something up off the ground and stand up, hitting her head on the sign in front of the stairs. If you recall, that sign is very stout and could really hurt someone. It was clear that she smacked her head hard enough to do damage but she wasn't unconscious. Well, my friend and I, being what might be called, "bad people" started cracking up...mature...that’s us. As we attempted to make our amusement less obvious, a middle aged man approached us and said, "That was pretty funny, huh? Here ya go." He then handed us a business card (not for a business, but of that form factor) bearing had an anthropomorphic illustration of a cow on its hind legs, wearing boots with spurs, bandoleer, hat, etc. Underneath it read, "Cow Boy." Like that, the man was gone. Funny, though very odd. I will post the card when my buddy emails me the scan...then we'll see how my memory is.

Meh, not to start any debates but I've definitely seen some disturbing behavior in parks because of alcohol. Don't get me wrong, I'm a scotch and bitters lover, but I've never seen anyone smoke a joint and shout, "rock and roll" then vomit in inappropriate places. Not saying it's a good judgement call in the public either way though.

Heh, that actually reminds me of another one that I think I have posted on the site before. A few years ago I was watching the parade during MNSSHP and was positioned next to a trash can near the watch store. A man rushed over towards me with a 5-7 year old child in his harms (but horizontal, like he was carrying a log). I stepped aside (knowing something was awry) and he put the child about half way into the trash can. I had no idea what was going on for a good 5 seconds. I then realized someone ate a bit too much halloween candy and had to yack. The father made a pretty solid decision in very little time. No place without people, gonna make a mess....mmmm....in the trash can you go. He then took the kid out, asked if he was done, wiped his mouth, apologized and walked away. Good times.

There's a midget that works as Daisy Duck, and another that used to help take pictures with Toy Story characters at DHS.

was it an achondroplasia dwarf?
I have seen many dwarfs at Disney but never a dwarf cast member.
that must have been fun.

I don't think that this is weird. It's great that people of all heights work at Disney

Re: Weirdest thing seen at WDW

This one time I saw these young people maybe 20 years old but they were really drunk in Epcot. And they tried to see how many people they could fit on a wheel chair and still have it move. I hate those kinda people

Re: Weirdest thing seen at WDW

I don't know how wierd it is...
but we saw a group of young people at Food&Wine in kilts! Some even wore tams (Scottish hats)

They were not Scottish, they were having 'happy drinks', they were LOUD, and we could not get away from them!

I would not be surprised if Disney security suggested they switch to water!

Have fun, within reason, so that everyone can have fun.

Re: Weirdest thing seen at WDW

Now, hold onto your hats... but I saw:

Little to no lines!! Visited Mon, Wed & Thurs the week of Jan 25th. Well, if there was a line we just came back a little later, used FastPass but almost didn't need to (except for Soarin!) - 90% of the time just walked on or had <3 minute 'delay'. In all my years visiting I've never ridden so many rides.

My new favorite time to visit? Late January.
