gems in tomorrowland

While we were in Tomorowland, we found some plastic gems stacked up on some rocks. The fact they were left there appeared to be intentional, and they were out of easy public view (but visible and accessible to children), so I was wondering if anyone knows if these are part of some Tomorrowland "search", sort of like the paintbrushes on Tom Sawyer Island. Has anyone heard of this?

I had not heard of that. Can you say specifically where they were?

I do not have a photo unfortunately, there were several, maybe 10, on the rocks on the side of the walkway between the tomorrowland terrace noodle station and the area of the park with Stitch's Great Escape.

Were they glued down or could you pick them up?

Re: gems in tomorrowland

you could pick them up - they were inexpensive plastic, about an inch or so long or wide depending on style, in different colors. We actually brought a few home and have them somewhere, and we left the others for other kids. They looked as if they had been "seeded".

Some little kid might have left their treasure sitting there from like POTC or something. You know those bags that you can fill up for like $3 or something like that out of the Pirates gift shop...

Re: gems in tomorrowland

When i was younger I was on astro orbiter and found a bag full of those plastic gems at the bottom of the ride. Some other guest just left them there, so ya that would be my guess as to what those gems are...
