    Re: Music Composers/Orchestras Question

Jerry Goldsmith did Soarin' over California I believe. He even said afterward that had he seen the video that his music was being composed for, he would have done it for free!

    Re: Music Composers/Orchestras Question

Gavin Greenaway did "Reflections of Earth". Hans Zimmer, Greenaway's colleague and the composer of "Lion King", asked Gavin to do the music because he was busy with other productions at the time.

"We Go On" lyrics were by Don Dorsey and the solo by Kellie Coffey

"Promise" was also composed by Gavin Greenaway

    Re: Music Composers/Orchestras Question

Jim Cummings, voice talent of Winnie the Pooh, Tigger, and Darkwing Duck, does the narration at the very beginning:

"Good evening. On behalf of Walt Disney World, the place where dreams come true, we welcome all of you to Epcot and World Showcase. We've gathered here tonight around the fire as people of all lands have gathered for thousands and thousands of years before us... to share the light... and to share a story. An amazing story as old as time itself, but still being written. And though each of us has our own individual stories to tell, a true adventure emerges when we bring them all together as one. We hope you enjoy our story tonight: Reflections of Earth."

    Re: Music Composers/Orchestras Question

Just to go along with the music theme here with IllumiNations, I started a thread a little while ago that has the Holy Name Cadets Drum & Bugle Corps doing the IllumiNations music
