Haunted Mansion Costumes at MNSSHP

Many thanks to Lou for playing my voice mail about our Haunted Mansion costuming adventure at MNSSHP on 9/29 a few episodes back.

Well, the trip is done and mansion costuming 2009 is complete! I hope some of you were able to catch us there.

This was our 4th year with no end in sight. Here are myself as Hitchhiking Gus, my wife Liz as The Bride and friends Darrell as Hitchhiking Phineas, Brian as Hitchhiking Ezra, Jesse as Pickwick the chandelier ghost, Regina as Prudence the endless hallway maid, Nicole as Lillian O'Malley Gracey the tightrope portrait girl, and Zach as an impromptu Ghost Host. These pics are all after park closing on 9/29/09 with some of the Mansion Maids and Butlers.









Our inspiration for our makeup color and costume style is the attraction poster art for the Mansion:

That is amazing!! I attended the HM 40th event in DL in September and thought may people would dress up like that. A few people dressed like the posters in the stretching room but not Hitchhiking Ghosts.

WOW!!!! Very, VERY cool!!!!! By far the best (non official walk arounds...but they're the real thing so that doesn't count...wait no those aren't costumes!! )disney themed costumes i've seen.... how many compliments did you get? I'd have thought you guys were employed by disney!

Those costumes are looking so cute and AMAZING!!! I love these kinds of costumes! I think it is delightful that your sense of mood polished by your costume. We have been pirate theme last few years ago and it has worked very well moreover, there you have bit of flexibility.
