The Indiana Jones show and an absolute must is Lights, Motors, Action! The best place to sit for LMA is on the left side as close to the front as possible. We sat there and could feel the heat from the fire.
I'm taking the Boyfriend to WDW Hollywood Studios this month. He has never been to disney. I have only been to Hollywood Studios a couple of times to jump on the rides.
Any suggestions for "must-sees" at HS? Besides rides and stuff, anything to keep an eye out for?
Thanks

The Osborne Spectacle of Dancing Lights is absolutely spectacular! I would highly recommend taking some time at night to walk down the streets and soak it all in!
I would also check out Fantasmic at night. It's a really great show in a wonderful amphitheater.
For food, I really recommend 50's Prime Time Cafe. They serve great food in a casual atmosphere that's a lot of fun.
You see the hat? I am Mrs. Nesbitt!
Thanks for the suggestions!
I am hoping to go to the 50s prime time cafe for lunch but we planned this visit last minute (we live in Orlando) and there are absolutely NO reservations open (of course!)
We are going Nov 29th so I hope it the park won't be too crowded and we won't have to wait THAT long to be seated.
If you can't get reservations, try stopping at the restaurant first thing in the morning. Sometimes you get lucky and something opens up.
Generally we do the evening hours because we don't get up early enough to make use of the morning extended hours.
The 1st trip to Magic Kingdom is overwhelming. You could stand in one spot for an hour and have a terrific time. The Pirates is nice on a hot day because it’s cool in there. The mountains (Space, Thunder, and Splash) are excellent. And Buzz Light year is fun for everyone.
Hollywood studios: Star Tours and the Star Wars show right next to it, very cool. Muppets 3-D always makes me laugh, the Car Stunt Show is high thrills, and I love the rockin-roller coaster. My wive is a big fan of the Tower of Terror.
Regards,
Really take in all the Streetmosphere characters, they are really entertaining. Also take a walk through One Man's Dream, it's an excellent exhibit.
Almost forgot, try and get an ice cream from Disnosaur Gerties, I love Gertie![]()

The only problem with going too late in the evening is that the fast passes for Toy Story Mania are gone (found that out the hard way), and if you plan on seeing Fantasmic, you'll miss the ride, most likely. That's the trouble with those two half-day parks... you benefit from hitting one early and lose out by hitting the other one late.
