keep sakes from your trip that don't cost you a thing......

What are some keepsakes that you keep from your visits that you didn't have to purchase from a gift shop or the like? For instance, on one trip we kept the mickey shaped bowl that our child's meal came in from a CS meal. We still use it for her lunches today and wash it in the dishwasher. It has held up suprisingly well.

Other things:
Unused left over napkins from meals. I put them in my daughter's school lunches for a extra-magical day!)
Mickey shaped sprinkles from chef mickey's ice cream bar. (I put them on my daughter's ice cream at home for speacial treats.)

Ok, your turn!

My favorite is the drawings you get to keep from the Animation Academy, mine looked good enough that we framed them and put them in my sons playroom. Also, these aren't from the parks, but you can order very nice customized park maps from disneyworld.com, they are two sided, so you have to order them twice, but they are super nice looking and I also have those framed in the playroom.

Agree with theses: Park maps and time guides, soups and shampoos.

I've also kept: Unused fastpasses, free park pins.

Re: keep sakes from your trip that don't cost you a thing......

My DD and husband were waiting outside the Rock'n in DHS when she was 4 years old. They were sitting on the wall to the entrance dividing the food court from the attraction. Good place for her to wander about without getting trampled.

It was her Daddy's Birthday. He noted her mulling around a bush. She came over to her Daddy, with about two dozen tiny leaves from the bush. "Happy Birthday Daddy, now you have a bush form your favorite place in the world." He put them in a film canister and then a tiny clear container about the same size when we got home. These sit on his blue print board at work still, 14 years later.

I save everything, the tickets/maps/soaps/shampoos/drink stirrers (some of the bars use to have cute ones, not sure if they still have them), pens, if it's meant for the taking.....I do!
