Day Dreaming

Okay.. So I'm sitting here in my own little dream world... And I am just trying to imagine what is going on today.

Today marks the 1st day of the happiest celebration on earth... and I am stuck at work... and I am not celebrating!!!

So I was wondering if I were in Disney at this moment what would I be doing??

.......I am standing on Main St looking at the golden kissed castle... I can see 50 years of pure magic standing in front of me.... Partners is more motivational than ever!!!

Then I take a left at the hub.... and.......


(anyone can feel free to enter the next portion of the dream.....) This can be sort of a mini trip for all of us who cannot be in Lou's shoes right now!!!

....and decide I have turned the wrong way and make an about face. I scamper to Tomorrowland to try my hand at defeating the evil emperor Zurg. Of course, I rack up 1 million and 2 points (hey, you said it was a dream!) and exit to the cheers of the crowd. I am their hero and they adore me. I spend the rest of my morning alternating between Timekeeper and the Carousel of Progress, Carousel of Progress and Timekeeper. I am trying to get my fill in case I never have the opportunity to visit these attractions again. So, it is nearing the lunch hour and I am beginning to have some hunger pangs. I decide to head for................................ (next :) )

....the People Mover to think it over..... (heehee) While on the People Mover I think of how nice the warm air feels.. unlike the 45 degrees back at home. I'm not sure what I want to eat, but I wonder if I can make it to Epcot before the hunger pains really start to hurt. I'd love to eat in Morocco. HHHmmmm, I still have to hit up Pirates and the HM though. I have plenty of time on WedWay to think up a plan of attack for the long day and night ahead of me. But I decide to take it easy today, no rushing to get from ride to ride.....

decide to get a Dole Whip to dull the hunger pains. An jump on Space Mountain for a great thrill.....

After a whirlwind ride through Space, I decide that I must see "The Man" :mickey: . I take the hidden pathway over to ToonTown and head into Mickey's house. Wow, there is hardly any line in here today, they must all be, well not here. Mickey and I get to spend some quality time taking pictures when Goofy walks in and escorts me to ride the Barnstormer with him. After we get off, we part ways and I head to.....

Let's see--it's about 3:30 PM in WDW so I would probably be in line or riding Haunted Mansion for the 4th or 5th time!

and as the 5 o'clock hour rolls around, I decide to take a stroll through liberty square, leading into frontierland. Wow! The riverboat is at the dock! What are the odds?! I wonder if they'll let me bring a turkey leg in board? Ahhh... as I sit on the upper deck, watching the sky turn from a brilliant blue to an array of purples and red, I see in the distance...

Kelli! What are you doing here girl? You didn't tell me you were coming for the celebration! So, arm in arm we head over to Cinderella's Castle. We are STARVING and prime rib sounds excellent. I'll take the Queen's cut AND a ceasar salad to start AND a raspberry smoothie. I don't know if I should order dessert or wait and get ice cream later. What are you having Kelli? The same? Good choice! Look at the sunshine twinkling on the windows as the sun is sinking lower. The lights are beginning to twinkle on all over Fantasyland. It is so cool and peaceful here by the window. Yes, I would love the horseradish sauce. Thank you. Ahhhh, it feels so good to sit here and rest my feet with a friend. Cheers! After dinner I think we will head over to..........

. . . Adverntureland - to ride the Magic Carpets of Aladdin and see the Enchanted Tiki Room: Under New Management. After that . . .

do a little shopping on Main Street and get a seat to watch the evening parade....

I'm sorry I was daydreaming what were we talking about.

Oh boy... WISHES!!!!

then off to the water pagent

I hop on the monorail and head back to the Disney Suite at the Grand Floridian, where I will dream magical dreams until morning....

uuwww Dame's asleep! Now I can sneak over to Big Thunder Mountain and ride it over and over over and over over and over over and over over and over over and over over and over over and over over and over over and over over and over over and over over and over over and over over and over over and over over and over again!

(sorry folks, Big Thunders closed for the evening due to... tehcnical difficulties... they know it's the only way I'll detrain myslef.)
