I did my "day" at an open space preserve not too far from here. Spent a few hours destroying invasive weeds. The goal is to have only native plants, insects and animals within it.

My wife and I just finished our blankets for project Linus and deliver them on Saturday.

After several attempts I am finally have confirmation for this Saturday, cleaning and stocking a food pantry with items we bring. There are alot of opportunities but I was specifically looking for one that permitted 6 year olds and those are harder to fine or to sign up (as they book up quickly).
We are looking forward to using vouchers for the immediate fast pass option since we already have tickets. We are a family of four so that is one voucher for every park! 96 total passes, yay! These will come in handy early summer crowd and SWW.

FYI, if anyone is still considering signing up - DO IT ASAP.

Disney is at or near its 1 million volunteer goal, and organizations are reporting that Disney has told them they are closing the program. It looks like at this moment you can still sign up though.

Yes, I recieved the same email from some of an ALT opportunity that I signed up and it confirms the same... but written with more urgency "Disney closing program TOMORROW 3/5"...

My family and I recieved our vouchers yesterday so we are ready to go!

Got a bit more information. Right now, registrations are still possible with some organizations, but they are controlling numbers more closely. Organizations which had "flexible" participation numbers are now closed out. Only those organizations with fixed numbers can continue to post opportunities.

If you are familiar with how Disney closes the parks in phases, call this a "Phase 1" closing. Phases 2, 3 and 4 can come quickly.

Also, let me reiterate - if you have already signed up for an opportunity with an organization for a particular date and have gotten your confirmation, you are all set. There is a voucher with your name on it just waiting for you to complete your work.

I never actually got the email telling me how to get my voucher, but I was able to locate it online from the website I used to sign up, now have it downloaded ready to print when I go to Disneyland to renew my AP.
