Re: Crying Moments at Disney
Well the most recent was when I went to Disneyland, as soon as the train station came to view with the monorail in the center of the two parks, I started balling because I never though I would get to see Disneyland in my life. I cried so many times that day lol it was ridiculous but I was so happy. And several times I've cried in WDW over the years lol.
here are some more members emotional moments

Re: Crying Moments at Disney
I love and hate those moments! Some for me:
- When ever I see a young child run up to a character
- The opening ceremony at the Magic Kingdom
- Seeing the castle for the first time of a trip
- Part of Monorail Speil when he says "If this Concludes your Visit to the Walt Disney World Resort....." when it is the conclusion of my visit
- and the "Now it's time to say goodbye" song on the Magical Express video when coming to the Airport
Those get me everytime. The last two made me misty eyed now as i just went through it yesterday,
Re: Crying Moments at Disney
I would never admit to my family that my eyes get misty at certain times on our WDW vacation. Just can't help it.

I was just at Disney for my birthday (Nov. 7th) and at the end of the night I saw SpectroMagic and towards the end of the parade some tears came down my face.

We have the same B-day! Not that that has anything to do with this thread.
Re: Crying Moments at Disney
On my last trip in December tears also came to my eyes as we were walking towards the exit. A stroller slammed into the back of my heels.
Re: Crying Moments at Disney
I have had too many crying times to mention.Once at food and wine festival,Starship was playing and we were sitting there listening, and when they played Nothing's Gonna Stop Us Now,I held it back, but I was balling inside. Each time we see the Little Mermaid show at DHS,I cry.Touches the heart,I guess. But in the dark,no one can see me choking.Hall of presidents, get me,and on and on and on................Too many to think of.lastly, one of the biggest reasons that we older kids of Uncle Walt's cry and get choked up,is because most of us grew up watching all of the Disney shows that came on tv,back in the 60's and early 70's as kids, and if yall were like me,I wanted to go to Disneyland so bad,I couldn't stand it!I still do! I have been to WDW tons of times, but never to the original,Disneyland in Ca.Maybe one day,and if I do,I'll cry for sure.
It's ok for men to cry, trust me on this..............
Re: Crying Moments at Disney
This may sound completely strange, but I have cried when Big Al comes on in the Country Bear Jamboree. I think its just because he slightly reminds me of my grandfather who passed away

LisaAnn,
There is nothing strange at all about anything at WDW that can cause one to cry.Crying comes from the heart and when we do,it is because something extremely dear and special to us has been refreshed in our thoughts and hearts, and it touches that special place inside of us that no one can touch. So don't feel strange or weird or anything about your crying time sat WDW.Truth be known, there are tons and tons more people walking around in the parks, just a balling inside, but I guess they think they are too "macho" to let their crying be seen by others. So let it out my "disney sister"!
Re: Crying Moments at Disney
-Illuminations
-Cinderella's Holiday Wish
-Candlelight Processional
-Magical Express back to the Airport
-Wishes
Countless others that I can't think of right now...

Wishes gets me every time. Usually I'm holding one of my girls when the little girl starts singing.
