Absolutely! Especially at Epcot, because the guest drop off is off to the left at the front of the parking lot, a bit of a ways from the entrance (probably like a 3 minute walk). So you see SSE from an angle, and surely enough close in on it...the anticipation builds with every step

My arrival moment is pretty early: Getting of the plane, walking into the terminal and hearing the American announcements tells me we've made it!!!

My arrival moment is the second that I can see palm trees from the window of the plane. It means the weather's changed (BRRRR Chicago weather >:[ ), the scenery's changed, and my attitude's about to change too, because we're finally on our way to the happiest place on earth !!! ;D

Wanted to revive this thread, to see if any of the new users have some ideas to add!

I'll go along with the post above and say that since I usually go in December, once I feel the head from the ramp as I'm leaving the plane, I know I've 'arrived'.

Really Walt? Disneyland is MY land? Why would I want a silly little land when I can have the WORLD.

For me, it's pulling into the Animal Kingdom Lodge, our favorite resort! The sights and sounds and smells let us know that we have arrived!

I've never stopped to take pictures of the WDW arch as you enter. No need to cause a fender bender. But sometimes I realize I'm there when I first pull past the toll plaza on my way to Wilderness Lodge.
