I have a few...some of them are more "oh man i'm on vacation" then "i've arrived"...it used to be MCO for me, looking up at the skylight...then we'd rent a car(until the 'rents moved to fla and we just drive there) and passing under The Sign...sometimes it's walking into the hotel lobby(usually either Y&B or AKL)...other times it's coming out of the tunnel at MK and seeing the park unfold...or if we go to Epcot first, it's walking over the first hill and seeing the UK pavilion.

I think I have issues

I can't seem to get excited about entering the parks anymore, for some reason. It's more the anticipation of being there, I think. The planning and all. Then, of course, there's the barnyard smell of the monorails. That always psyches me up. Just not entering the parks, though. :*(
Really, Walt? Disneyland is MY land? Why would I want a silly little land when I can have the WORLD.

AGREED! That and the moment I walk through the turnstiles at EPCOT and hear that epic music... that's when the butterflies start!

The musty water smell from Pirates/Splash Mountain. No joke. That is my most vivid memory from Splash Mountain as a kid.

When we arrive at the Polynesian resort, walk over the bridge and into the lobby. First thing is that familiar tropical smell of the lobby, then I know I have arrived.

I'm proud to be crazy. And it has nothing to do with the monorails. Sanity is for quitters.
Now THAT should be on a t-shirt.

We always drive down,so our "we have arrived" moment is when we drive onto Disney property, off of hwy 192,and when we cross under the big Disney sign/entrance.That is our time of "WE ARE HERE!"
