yeah, for us,a flight would be just a little over an hour. But I agree.Having your own vehicle down there is tops.My wife and I flew two different times to WDW,but we had a package with a rental car,so it still was ok.I guess I just don't enjoy driving as much as I used to,especially on long trips.

My I have arrived moment is when I ride the Carousel Of Progerss. That makes it tough when is seasonally shut down. Those trips leave me feeling empty. There's A Great Big Beautiful Tomorrow!

I always go to Downtown the first night I'm there...but that "I have arrived" moment occurs the first time I walk into the first park I go to

Re: What is your "I have arrived" moment?

Well since we drive from around Cincinnati to Orlando it is still dark and we take the back way in. We don't get to see any signs. My moments are when the guard at the resort says Welcome Home and bus ride to the Magic Kingdom when they start playing the music when pulling up to the park. That's when I know I have made it!

Re: What is your "I have arrived" moment?

Sometimes we take a plane or we drive. When we take the plane down to Orlando, the "I have arrived" moment is seeing the Disney Magical Express person waving the Mickey hand.

Re: What is your "I have arrived" moment?

The first onsite resort that I ever stayed in was Pop Century, so I consider that my "home" resort. My "I have arrived" moment is always when I see that big sign as I turn into the resort drive.

Re: What is your "I have arrived" moment?

On my one trip ever to WDW (at age 32) it was finally seeing the outside of "Spaceship Earth" that I had dreamed about seeing since I was a kid.
