Agreed. I don't get it. Last year when we were waiting in line for Soarin' there was a boy in front of us who was hanging all over the railings...until we heard this big thud and he was on the floor...after falling head first. He ended up being fine, but not the point!

Re: What is your "cringe" moment?
My "cringe" moment is when the Monorail pulls up and it's overflowing with people. Whether we're headed to Magic Kingdom/EPCOT or leaving at the end of the night, whenever the monorail pulls up and the doors open and EVERY car is packed, that's my "cringe" moment!

I'm with Albino Pygmy on this one... the sea of shirts with the flag that materializes in front of you as you wait in line and they had one "placeholder" for 100 people.

Re: What is your "cringe" moment?
Had that happen to me at the "other" park down in Orlando. I was headed to Jaws when a giant troupe of pink shirts following a flag waver were marching along. They were singing/cheering/chanting in who knows what language, and I knew that they just HAD to be heading directly to where I was going. I immediately grabbed my friend's hand and dragged her past them. She got annoyed that we were moving so quickly when the park was otherwise empty, but when she saw what I was doing, she understood.
Really, Walt? Disneyland is MY land? Why would I want a silly little land when I can have the WORLD.

Totally agree, Don. Whether it's a packed monorail, or when I walk out to the bus stops by the resort and see that the ONLY one that is totally FULL is by the sign for the park I'm heading to that day, I cringe every time.

My cringe worthy moment is when you see the wait time for Tower of Terror and you think that it's reasonable until you see the actual line and go . . . there's no way THAT is a 10 minute wait.

Re: What is your "cringe" moment?
I will echo the sentiment of previous posters...
any time an adult is yelling at a child to stop crying!
They're probably crying, in part, because you are yelling at them!

Re: What is your "cringe" moment?
Another one is riding the bus and seeing an unending sea of parked cars in the lot. Or spotting a giant line at the turnstiles or security checkpoint as I'm passing overhead on the monorail.

That's when we wait for the next bus to wherever it's going that is not packed. It's WDW.

walking to the bus stop at a resort just as the bus for the park you are going to pulls away

People walking in the middle of the walkway (spread out in a line across the walkway) reading a map while walking. ugh-ugh-ugh!

Re: What is your "cringe" moment?
People pushing past you in a line. You know how it happens, they start taking a couple of steps and then get neck and neck with you, the next thing you know, they are in front. Most of the time not acting like they knew you were there.
Either that, or people pushing when you have 1 empty foot of space in front of you. I will walk when I want to, 1 foot doesn't matter. Ugh.

Re: What is your "cringe" moment?
As a city girl I cringe when people just kind of loiter in front of you when you're trying to walk. I totally get that we're all at Disney on vacation but please move to the side if you're going to come to a halt or walk at negative 5mph.
