Seeing those poor children on leashes. EEEPP!!!

Yep!! as a parent of a 5 and 3 y.o. i couldnt imagine using them.
They should bring those parents up on some type of charges!!
Seriously though, they do look mighty dumb.

I was a rambunctious child. Back then, we didn't have leashes and yet I was never reclaimed from the Lost Child department. It's all about parenting. And these people are just bad, bad parents.

As the parent of 3 kiddos (now all teens) within 3 yrs. and 2 mos. of each other in age, I used to, and still do, cringe every time I see those poor kids on those darn leahes, too!
It wasn't nearly always easy to keep them all on track, but DW and myself managed to do pretty well without those silly lookin', demeaning, contraptions.
And, on the plus side.....we are now skillful enough to herd cats ( or grandchildren ) if/when we ever need to...!

Ooohh no. Then you've got parents in double/triple-wide strollers clogging up the walkways, taking forever to load on and off the bus, or taking up room at entrances. Just keep the kids home and leave the parks to the adults.

As long as those kids aren't on leashes, I don't mind the stroller problem... And as Walt said, "Disneyland is your land..." and that goes for Disney World as well... No matter what the problem is parents and children should enjoy Disney together....

Another cringe moment for me comes when I'm visiting my second or even third park for the day, and a quick glance at the latest updates to the Wait Times Board suggests that it's going to be an attraction-free visit that time around.

Walking up to restaurant for your ADR and finding a ton of other unhappy people waiting for their table as well.

oh and seeing my first child get screamed at by a parent... you feel vicariously embarrassed for them and by them... and you wanna say, "well if you would have paid attention when they were real young maybe they wouldnt be crying out for negative attention... ever think of that..." sorry...

Too many people these days look for a medication or an "out" for a lack of parenting.
Im not saying there isnt special needs out there...there is, and i hope for the best for those families. im simply saying kids today (in general) are soooo over medicated for a lack of common sense or laziness concerning the parents.

Why would you allow a random parent to scream at your first child? Don't love him as much as your second, maybe?
