but seriously every time i see a child get yelled at... i do get embarrassed... like "thanks for showing a park full of kids with parents that you struggled bringing your kids up..."

Right. And the problem is... it's never YOUR item they're wrapping. You're standing there with a plush toy and some candy. It's the dope two people up from you that decided to buy one of each breakable item in the store, for whatever reason.

and there is never another CM when you need one... just one ssllloooowwww CM scanning one... wrapping it twice... placing it in the bag.... scanning one... and so on and so forth... it is sooo ridiculous...

I've read through all of these and I have to say that my cringe moment was reading this thread. A few of you have legitimate concerns, but it seems that the smallest things are creating a rant. I mean NO disrespect to anyone who posted here, but here is something to consider. Walt Disney World is the busiest vacation destination in the World. Part of what makes WDW so special is sharing moments with family, friends, and complete strangers. Walt didn't set out to make a park only for his family. He created it for everyone to enjoy, or not enjoy! There will be annoyances anywhere you go, but I offer this: if you don't like dealing with the general public, don't go!

Thats one of my cringe moments as well. My parents would NEVER have put me on a leash. If you cant control your child enought that you ahve to put them on a leash, then there are some problems you need to correct. Or just put them in a stroller. Or better yet...HOLD THEIR HAND!

When you look around any Disney merchandise shop and find that it is selling the exact same products as every other store in WDW!

I totally see your point, I really do. But when you see that you're about to get your legs taken out from under you by an old lady in a motorized wheelchair, doing what seems to be 60 mph with no apparent control of the thing, that makes me cringe. Talking from experience here. lol! Everything else is just part of "The World."
