What is your "cringe" moment?
Yesterday I started a thread about the moment that makes you feel that you're at Disney. Today I was wondering... what is your cringe moment? What sight, sound, smell, etc, gives you that 'yikes' feeling?
For me, it's pulling up at my resort and either seeing a ton of people spilling off Magical Express heading to check in, or bell hop carts full of luggage. I always prefer the parks and resort to be empty and seeing a ton of people and/or their waiting luggage always tears me up inside.
Anyone else?

A crowd of brightly colored neon shirt wearing foreigners following a flag bearer headed straight towards your attraction. If you don't feel the least bit anxious at this sight, then you've got nerves of steal!

Amen.
Re: What is your "cringe" moment?
People yelling at their kids for not having a good time because they spent a lot of money to be there.

How about the people that yell at their kids because they're spending a lot of money WHILE there!!

People allowing children to balance on walls or hang or swing on railings while in lines for attractions or buses. Do these people want to add an emergency trip to a hospital to their vacation plans!

My math prof took his 3 kids to Disney on the Christmas break, and when they were in the MK one day his one little boy was grumpy (as children sometimes get), and so my prof told him that its Disney and you HAVE to be happy at Disney and that there are happy police that ensure everyone is having a good time (he said this to be funny, not yelling at him). RIGHT that moment a cast member walked over to the kid and said "hey whats with that frown, don't you know you aren't allowed to be grumpy at Disney World?" Perfect timing! haha. The cast member then gave them all stickers and there went the grumpiness.
My cringe-worthy moment is seeing my visa bill when I get home!

The sea of strollers when I enter Fantasyland always makes me cringe. Then it gets worse when an overbearing parent nearly runs over me with the stroller because they have to get to wherever they're going before everyone else.

I try to forget about the stroller brigades anywhere. One of the most loathed positions is stroller parking and for a good reason too.

I agree, absolutely. Normally, I abhor violence, but when I see that, I just want to go up to the person yelling and just smack them.

Finding the dreaded DME envelope on the doorknob.

Pop Warner groups at hotels and in the parks. Worse, in the pool area. :inquis:
