My family's tradition is to eschew matching clothing of any kind.
Now that I have read what, when, or where starts your Disney vacation. The next part of the question is.......
What is one or any of your "traditions" that you have when visiting the world? something that you have to ride first, a certain resturant you must eat at everytime you visit, or maybe just a place you go to relax when you are at WDW.
My "tradition" everytime I go to WDW is the first morning of my trip I always have an early character breakfast before the park offically opens at the Crystal Palace in the MK. Then I always ride the Haunted Mansion as soon as the park opens at 9 if its not magic hours. I always have and will continue this tradition for vacations to come!
My family's tradition is to eschew matching clothing of any kind.
We always get our picture takenat the picture spot facing the castle next to the Crystal Palace...then we walk over and grab the best dog on property at Casey's Corner

The first evening we arrive, we like to head to Beaches & Cream to split a Kitchen Sink.
We always purchase disney wall art to bring back and hang in our kids playroom. It is a great walk down memory lane.
We always get a photo of my husband and my son sitting in RC at ASMo. It's great to track how he's changed from year to year.
Sometimes all you need is a reminder that out there lies a better place... a better world... a Walt Disney World.

Once a trip my mom and I like to get a pastry and frozen latte at the Main Street bakery for breakfast!
After checking in, we head to Downtown Disney for marshmallow treats at Goofy's Candy Company. Then we head over to the TTC & hop on the monorail for a spin around EPCOT. It gets us even more excited!
As for touring the MK it was PotC first thing - since we've had kids (DS 7 & DD 2) we do Dumbo first thing. I can't imagine it any other way![]()
The last two days for me are always the same. I leave Wilderness Lodge to turn in the rental car, and take the free shuttle to Saratoga Springs. The next morning, we check out, check in for our airline, then walk over to DTD for lunch at Earl of Sandwich and shopping before walking back to catch Magical Express.
Fireworks at the Magic Kingdom is always the last thing we do.
We all also have personalized Mickey ear hats that we'll all wear to the Magic Kingdom...even my parents and grandmother...11 of us total. It's quite a sight.
Dinner at the Crystal Palace.
Also as we got older, my sisters and I (all older than 16 mind you) developed a new tradition to pick one day to wear princess tiaras (usually Epcot day...or a second MK day). My one sister styles hair as a hobby so she'll give us all fancy up-dos and lock that crown into place.
And being the Donald fangirl I am, I also try to pick up at least one Donald Duck item while I'm there. The gift shop outside Mickey's Philharmonic is one of my favorite places to shop! There is so much Donald stuff I can't find anywhere else!
Gotta love a duck in uniform.
We always take pictures with our favorite Disney’s characters and favorite Disney’s attractions. We also Purchase some decorations things for kids room, like, “Disney wall art” etc and some toys.
