Space Mountain Question

Can anyone tell me if Space Mountain still has the Star Tunnel Music track in the tunnel area? We haven't been on since the re-opening.

Oh man, I sure hope so - That is one of my most favorite Disney tracks! (I made it my ring tone!)

As of the last time we went, no. The star tunnel music is gone.

I was there during the reopening and the music was still there. But I haven't been to WDW since last December.

YES. All the same music is there. But the dark tunnel music, where the games are now located, is a tad bit harder to hear with all the sound effects from the game. But yes all the original music is the same.

Yes its music is really cool and I would like to see it when I go to visit there. My favorite music is lack of blaring and single-file cars. I'm really happy that the track as well and very excited to see it again.

Mousetrap? You mean Wild Mouse type? Space Mountain isn't one of those...those have flat turns, etc. SM is generally just termed a steel coaster, like the Matterhorn.

Nothing changed about the track configuration at all. However the track was rehabbed, as were the cars.

Most of the changes are visible in the queue area, with the new "game" section, and the loading area is now enclosed.

Hmmm, we were probably last there in January or February, or somewhere around in there. They must have turned the music off that day for some reason.

I miss the "RCA Home Of The Future", but I'm glad the star tunnel music is still there. Anybody remember which Blondie song was playing in sis's room?

I was just clarifying because you asked if it was still a "mousetrap coaster"...you can call it anything you want, but if no one knows what you are referring to, then no one can answer you Nothing about being precise - there just isn't a type of coaster by that name, so I can't tell you if it still is one...
