Getting that Disney 'fix' each day

You've shared your "I have arrived" moments and those moments that make you cringe while you're at the parks.

I thought it would be fun to share how we get our daily Disney fix while we're far away from the parks.

For example, today I was going through some of my music for board members and came across a track that was recorded live on Main Street. So along with the park music, you could hear people talking, the train going by, etc. So for a few seconds, I was able to close my eyes and picture myself there.

Whether it's wearing a special shirt, listing to music, going through pictures, reminiscing through your past souveniers, what are some of the ways that you catch up on the Happiest Place on Earth when you can't be there?

it has def. got to be the music... i have music on my ipod... and when i am having a bad day, or just wanting to go to WDW... i play it, close my eyes, and i am there...

As for now,I don't remember the sites,but I found a couple of sites that allow you to download music from the parks for freeto your harddrive and then you can burn them to CDs.I have stuff that people put on there and stuff that could have been professionally recorded and put on there.For instance:I have star tunnel from space mtn,into to buzz lightyear's ride,all of haunted mansion,plus extra haunted mansion clips,all of the monorail narration,tiki birds,and on and on and on.OH! I also have the complete Horizons ride audio,including the "way back" at the end where everyone picks either desert,underwater,or what's the other one?Anyway,these burned Cds gives me a Disney fix when needed.Pics also that I put on facebook as I can brings back memories and fixes me too.I WANT TO GO BACK! It's been too long!

The music for sure.. looking through pictures always makes me smile. My two best friends are avid Disney fans too so chatting and sharing memories with them is great.

music, travel channel about disney, disney store, this forum, my disney shirts.. and i work at a hair salon and people see all my pics and everyone talks about it with me.. because they see im a nut and i love to talk about it

Definitely hitting the Disney Store whenever I'm in a mall, and checking out the ticket display for any announcements.

I've been listening to the plethora of internet radio stations on Live365.com and the like, getting my fill of all the sounds and music of the parks. They have a bigger selection of WDW stuff than my iPod can hold.

I make sure to listen to Disney Music EVERY DAY at some point, I look at my books and these forums and we will also watch the Planning DVD and Samantha Brown specials over and over

Haha me too! Im always watching the Vaction Planning DVDs over and over, and the Samantha Brown Specials on my DVR. I also listen to some type of disney music everyday and Im always watching on-ride videos on youtube!

I listen to the 'four parks one world' cd in my car on the way to work and home again every day, listen to wdw radio podcasts on my lunch hour, read celebrations magazine, listen to live365.com, watch footage I recorded from previous trips, talk to other disney fans on these forums, buy new disney pins to add to my collection, plan my next vacation no matter how far away it is, watch disney movies......There may be more, I'll add them if I think of anything, lol
