    Question Favorite WDW/DL-original Character

I have been a life-long WDW fan, like most of you out there. Also like many of you, I really enjoy the attractions that WDI creates from the ground up, not relying on any previously existing movies or characters. That got me thinking, what is everybody's favorite character featured in an attraction that was created specifically for that attraction?

Some examples include Figment, the hitchhiking ghosts, the guide for the TTA, Patrick (the flight attendant from Soarin'), the three-headed troll in Maelstrom, Timekeeper and Nine Eye, or XS Tech Chairman Clench (Alien Encounter), just to name a few. There are quite a few choices... all the way down to the most minute characters. I'm interested to see what everybody thinks!

Hubby and I love Patrick from Soarin' - we even named one of our guinea pigs after him - ha ha! After our most previous trip, hubby was constantly quoting the pre-ride spiel, particlarly the bit where the balding chappy is using a pair of mouse-ears to cover up his shiny-patch!

I would never have thought of him, but I do LOVE that pre-ride spiel too haha. And when he says you can't wear the mouse-ears and the guy looks so sad to have to take them off lol. To me though he's Puddy from Seinfeld though, I didn't even remember his name was Patrick... we just call him Puddy!

Haha, yeah he cracks me up too. When the kid buckles his seat belt, then gives him the overly dramatic thumbs up, and he smirks and says, "Nice work, pal." It always seems to give me a chuckle. However, I think of him more as Joe Swanson from Family Guy...

S.I.R.!!! Yes! Voiced by Tim Curry, who fits the part perfectly. May be my overall favorite.

I'm probably going to sound real uneducated when I ask this but... Who's S.I.R? Anyone Tim Curry plays is definitely worth my attention.
    I've got a few.
That woman in Pirates of the Caribbean that shouts "DON'T BE CHEEKIIN!" always cracks me up and I was very happy to see she was never Politically Corrected.
"We wants the Red Head!" Seriously. I think the animatronic of that red head is actually hotter than the actress that played her in "Curse of the Black Pearl."
Does the pilot droid in Star Tours count? 'Cause I've always liked him too XD
    And of course... FIGMENT!

He was part of the Alien Encounter pre-show. Long gone now.

I wonder if they'll be keeping Cpt. Rex/PeeWee Herman around for this new version of the ride or if Paul Reubens will be getting the boot?

S.I.R. can be seen on the linked video here:

    Alien Encounter Tribute on Vimeo

This is a link to the complete Alien Encounter attraction video (one of Martin's videos). Tim Curry voices the gold robot host in the pre-show. Sarcastic and hilarious.

I thought the chocolate chip cookie rumor had been debunked?
