I haven't seen one of these maps in a long time....but was the Western River/Thunder Mesa/Thunder Mountain on the planning table at the same time as the Persian and the Asian hotels? I thought that the 2 hotels were dropped long before the Thunder Mountain project started moving forward. Of course, I could be wrong - I just haven't seen one of those maps in a long time!

Honestly, I would pay maybe $25 for this. I was fortunate enough to visit Disneyland during the 50th anniversary and picked up this wonderfully detailed wall map of Disneyland. It is so intricately done and it was maybe $10. I had it framed and it hangs on my wall. I prefer my map over the million dollar one!! LOL

The funniest part about the listing isn't even the price! To me, the best part, and the part that made me LOL hard, was the endless naming of "celebrities."

The only thing I can figure is that this person is trying to get the attention of one of the people they named, but I'm pretty sure that none of those people are dumb enough (insert Paris Hilton joke here) to pay a cool million bucks for an outdated map of Walt Disney World. Even rich people know when something is a complete ripoff.

Or...you could buy the book "The Art of Walt Disney World" for $50 and have this picture along with many other pages of WDW history.

It is a cool painting though.
