Hello everyone! I need to make a decision very soon, but I want to make the right one. Please let me know your opinion!
Next May, my wife and I (just us two, no kids are coming) are going on the Disney Dream cruise. We get back on a Thursday and plan to spend two nights in Walt Disney World. Now, we are not planning to visit a park during this stay, so keep that in mind. However, I want to pick a nice resort and surprise her with it. I'm leaning towards Beach Club, which would continue the "beach" theme from the Cruise. However, for a change of pace, I'm also considering the Wilderness Lodge. Please cast your vote and let me know what to do! Of course, Yacht Club looks nice too. Thanks for your help!

That's a tough decision - so many good choices. I'm going to vote for the Yacht Club....I've never stayed there but did have breakfast and a little pool time with friends who stayed at Yacht. Our friends gave the resort very high marks - they usually only stay at the Ritz!
It's FALL?!? Already?!?!

I stayed at the WL on my last WDW vacation... i loved it... forget the fact that its close to MK... it has a great lobby, great restaurants, nice pools... there are things to do... and you are a ferry ride away from fort wilderness which has two amazing dinner shows... Mickey's Backyard BBQ and the Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue...

I would say Yacht Club because it has so many of the smae amenities as Beach Club, but tends to be a little quieter. Extra plus besides Stormalong Bay is the Boardwalk area.
Wilderness Lodge hands down!

These were the exact two resorts we were deciding between two! We're going with the Beach Club because well, it's awesome. We stayed there for just one night in the summer and it was sooo nice, and the pool was every bit as good as I had hoped. Plus you can walk to two resorts from it... we made lots of Epcot ADRs cause we can just walk on over for a meal.
if yo stay at beach club then at least visit WL for a few hours... it will be worth it...

I vote for Beach Club- I've stayed at several of the resorts but Beach Club is far and away my absolute favorite. The amenities are incredible, you can walk, boat, etc to Epcot and MGM, you're close to the Boardwalk and it's just overall soooooo pretty. I love love love it.
I definitely second JNota0005DakMC's comment though- definitely visit the Wilderness Lodge for a few hours.
Eat at Whispering Canyon if you can. Fun atmosphere and great food.

I LOVE the Beach Club! It's an amazing resort! It also has Stormalong Bay, which is pretty much a mini water park just a few steps away from your room! The dining choices there are great as well! At Cape May Cafe there are character breakfasts and a clam bake for dinner!
