Hitchhiking Ghosts Gone--Sort Of

While riding HM today the DW and I were in for a BIG surprise. We always try to guess which ghost will be in the doom buggy with us at the end. However, we first noticed that the three ghosts who usually appear as holograms as you exit the graveyard are now DVD cartoon-like digital and that the ghosts were "floating" on a scrim in front of us rather than being in the Doom Buggy with us at the end. We were so taken aback we forgot if Little Leota was there or not to invite is to coooome baaaaack. P.S. We want the old ghosts back!!!

Fingers crossed that they will be back. WDW News reporting cameras mounted to take photo's of guests to purchase after ride.

I also read the new effect is temporary and we'll have the ghosts with us again in the future.

The ghosts up now are temporary. The old ones will not be back, but improved versions of them will be.

Of greater concern: when will the bobble head hitchhiker figurines return to Madame Leota's cart? One of mine broke and I need a replacement. Send me a signal from somewhere beyond please.
