I became a Disney freak first and my husband is coming around.
We go every other year.(because of me!) Since he is in construction, I will research about how the buildings were built and the mechanical details of the rides.
It's like hooking a fish! Now he will stare and be so interested in how things are built and how they work. Just have to find their specific interests.

I have met a few people while waiting in line at Disney. It was more of a... oh hey someone to keep me company while I'm waiting. That's about it.

My sister is coming with her husband who has only been once (well, one day...I can hardly even count that as going). He is an architectural engineer so I am interested to see his reaction to some of the buildings and things a WDW.

I fell in love in line...with DL when I was waiting to get into it for the first time at the age of 6...and, subsequently, with WDW at the age of 26...!
And I just keep fallin' in love with them all over again...and again, and again, and again...!
Question: How many Imagineers does it take to change a light bulb?
Answer: Does it have to be a light bulb?

I spent 30 years in architecture, so as well as having a very keen interest in all things Imagineering, I also have a very special interest in the architectural and structural engineering aspects, including the history, ongoing efforts, and future of it all!

    Things like...
When engineers suggested that they couldn't structurally figure out a way to actually complete a full geodesic sphere for Epcot's SSE, Imagineer John Hench suggested they create a "table" supported by legs at the 3/4 of the way down mark and suspend the rest of the sphere from there...!
