Well... I guess this answers if they'll be painted Gabe... looks like they may be completely recovered?

Well good. Those tents needed some tender loving care. They were getting seedy looking, especially next to all new attractions going in!
I'm sure they did it because Disney saw my post about the faded tents. Ya, that was it.

More work on the tents. I get a kick out of how they refer to them as "skinless".
Thanks. Just odd that a circular set of walls were erected behind the carousel. It's a bit close to be Dumbo, and certainly too close to have been the old Ariel area.
It's actually not "behind" the carousel, depending on what you mean by behind. If you were at the castle looking at the carousel, the walls are off to the left in front of PhilharMagic and one of the counter services, towards IASW/Peter Pan. Dumbo, by comparison, is behind and to the right of the carousel.
If that's the case, I think this would be an odd place to put one of the castle walls, right? :inquis:
Maybe something else is supposed to go there? I know they do the show outside the carousel everyday, maybe it is something having to do with that? They also did rename the carousel, possibly something related to the ride itself?
In the original "leaked" plans for FLE, there was a faux wall being put in that sort of cut off Fantasyland West (PP, IASW, etc.) from the rest...but looking back, I think I was viewing it on the wrong side of the carousel - the wall was supposed to run from Snow White to Pinocchio, with the Carousel as part of the "west" side. So now I'm not sure what they are doing there.
Guess my angle was a bit off. It looked like Philharmagic was right behind the carousel. I never really paid attention to where everything was exactly placed, just knew what to avoid on the anual trip (ie. Philharmagic). Regardless of EXACT placement, those walls are a wee bit too close to the carousel and I couldn't figure out what they were looking to do with that space. I thought the expansion was limited to the area of 20K Leagues and Toontown. We'll see what sprouts up there.
Enchanted Grove news - Fantasyland's 'Enchanted Grove' to be renamed 'Cheshire Cafe'
For those that have wondered why Enchanted Grove has been behind tarps for so long... looks like maybe because of it's proximity to the teacups?

The Mickey Monitor (the publication for Disney's Annual Passholders), the first phase of the New Fantasyland in Magic Kingdom will debut in early 2012 with the opening of the Storybook Circus. Big-top circus tents lead to the first of "twin" versions of Dumbo the Flying Elephant, complete with a new, interactive queue. (The attraction will eventually add a twin Dumbo.) You will also be able to make a splash in a new water play area. Casey Jr., Dumbo's hardworking locomotive, will offer little ones a chance to cool off at his roundhouse, as they are splashed by circus animals. Also, in the tradition of classic air shows, there will be a spiraling stunt plane version of a classic family coaster run by "The Great Goofini", the daredevil stage name of Goofy.
