Refurbishment was to be from Jan to April, then to June 1st, now they are hoping September 14th maybe the day.
Disney sure has had there difficulties with this off the rack coaster.
Some people are like Slinkies.
They aren't really good for anything,
but they still bring a smile to my face when I push them down a flight of stairs.
Friends are Gods way of apologizing to us for our families.

Honestly it may be better from them to just replace the ride. I like the ride but it may be time for it to go. Especially with incidences that have happened cause hasn't there been like 2 or 3. Which my opinion is too many for the time that it has been open.

2011- March- 5 nights at Treehouse Villas then 2 nights at Bay Lake Tower
2010- March- 6 nights at Saratoga Springs then 1 night at Bay Lake Tower.
2010- July- 7 nights at Saratoga Springs.
2009- March- 9 nights at Boardwalk Villas.
2009- October- 2 nigths at Dolphin then Disney Wonder- 3-Night Bahamian Cruise (w/ a friend who I met on the Magic cruise)
2008- March- Disney Magic- 7-Night Eastern Caribbean Cruise (1st cruise ever)
2008- November- 5 nights at Coronado Springs
2007- March- 9 nights at Wilderness
2007- November- 2 nights at Swan
2006-1998 Yearly Trips sometimes two trips a year at various resorts which are the following(resort (# of times not previously stated))-
Saratoga Springs (1), Contemporary( Tower (1), Garden Wing (2 i think)), All-Star Movies(1 night then on the another hotel), All- Star Music (1), Wilderness Lodge (Lodge (1), Villas (?)) Coronado Springs (1), Animal Kingdom Lodge (1)

I'm not a gigantic fan of this one but, we haven't ridden it in a while so I'd be happy if it were reopened for our AK day in September!

I'm sorry, I never got past how hokey of a job they did plopp'n that mini little land there. I'm always disappointed when Disney doesn't imagineer well. Setting aside the overall safety of the that attraction for their CMs topic.

Like i like the ride some what because its another roller coaster but the wait that there is for it when i am there never really worth it. If i can wait 10-15 min for it then yeah i will ride it but 20+ not really worth it. Its been several trips since i have been on it and i don't really mind it. I think get rid of it and put a better more thrilling roller coaster there that doesn't look cheap.

I absolutely agree with the comments about that area of AK. Honestly, my husband and I hate it. We feel like it is just so anti-Disney. What really gets us is the game area. It takes a Disney park and makes it feel like a carnival; Tacky and focused on money. It's the one thing they've done on property that every time I see it I think to myself that Walt would be really unhappy.

I never liked this carnival themed area either. It makes me wonder what Imagineering was thinking on this one! My guess is that it is just a "placeholder" for a future expansion project, just like Toontown was in the Magic Kingdom.

It is difficult to think of Toon a a placeholder, it was there what 22 years?
My thought was there just wasn't enough attractions for a full day touring at that time and it was an easy fix for that end of the park.

I agree, that AK is no longer a full day park for us either. We usually use that day as our rest day. We can sleep in on that day, spend all the time we need at AK, and still be back to resort early enough to just hang out at the pool or whatever. When I go to AK, as long as I do Kali, Bugs Life, Dinosaur and Safari I am happy. Whatever else we see is icing on the cake.

i dont think this park has ever been a full day for me... generally we hit it early in the morning and we move on from there... this just proves that this attraction needs to be replaced.... trust me... the big time Disney fan might not even miss it...
