What is an attraction you refuse to ride or once was enough?

Nothing would get me on Tower of Terror.
Nor Space Mountain.... once was more than enough.

I've never rode Dumbo, Astro Orbiter or the Mad Teacups.

I did ride the Tomorrowland Speedway once. When I was 7. they didn't approve of my "aggressive Boston attitude", and so, I've never gone back. I mean, it's not like I'm less road ragey as an adult, right?

Stitch's Great Escape - just awful
Astro Orbiter - no desire to ride it
Mission: Space - not my cup of tea
all of the roller coasters except for Thunder Mountain
Magic Carpets of Aladdin - no desire to ride it either
Tower of Terror - no way!

Country Bear Jamboree - the Christmas version was cute, but seriously, I don't find it necessary - I think it is awful.
Shootin' Arcade - Why does it even exist?
Tom Sawyer's Island - we do enough walking, why do I need to go to an attraction that is nothing but walking?
Timekeeper - For God's Sakes put some seats in!
Grand Prix Raceway- While I don't mind this ride, I refuse to stand an a 2 hour long line in the heat to ride around in a circle going 7 miles per hour in a car...and it always ends up raining on me mid-ride!

There are a few I've never been on period like Stitch's Great Escape and It's Tough to be a Bug. HISTA and Alien Encounter were pretty scarring (even though I was on them more than once). I really reeeeeeeally don't like being touched by attractions. There are also some my group just does not bother with at all because they are the same rides we can go on at our local theme park with a different costume (the majority of Dinoland falls under this category).

The only ride I personally am "one and done" with is Summit Plummit. I did it. I did it willingly. I'd actually do it again if it weren't for the horrible back ache I got from it (I'm...kinda heavy and squishy). So until body slides become more fun than not (after I finally finish the WDW marathon), I won't be on that again.

Actually...the Tiki Room: UNM also qualified. Everyone in my family was utterly done with that after one viewing. We refused to see it again even for a nap. I'm really glad it's not there anymore.

i agree about american idol.

although, let me say, i have never seen this attraction myself, only in video clips and such, but the show is losing its appeal, and since only "certain" people can participate, it resticts a lot that would like to just try it for fun.

i miss when dhs has the attraction, what was it called, where they recreated tv scenes and diff audience members got to participate? that was fun. my nephew got chosen for that once!!

i just think something more appealing should go there!!

I'm sad to say that it would be Splash Mountain and Space Mountain. My fifty year old body can't take the plunge at the end of Splash and the wrenching turns in Space. I could when I was younger, but no more.

Strangely enough though, I can take Tower of Terror. I can't understand it, but there it is.

My husband and I are heading to Walt Disney World at the end of the month for a childless vacation. This will be our first time at WDW without kids. I was looking at the park maps deciding what rides/attractions we want to experience together. I have to say, there are a lot we are skipping this trip. It will be nice to do what we want to do and dine in more upscale restaurants without having to worry about a sitter. I can't wait to ride RNR with my hubby and not have to do Rider Switch!

With all of that off the itinerary, we can have more time to ride Expedition Everest over and over again and ride in the same doom buggy on the Haunted Mansion.

Hi there,
My wife and I went down to the World without our kids for the first time this past August. We had a lot of fun, and one of the main reasons we went without the kids was to take the 'Keys to the Kingdom' tour. You get a meal, a guided tour through the Magic Kingdom with background on the history of the Park and how it is run, plus a short part of the tour goes behind the scenes, where the public isn't allowed, including the Utilidoor areas. It was very informative and actually a lot of fun.
It is a bit pricey, but worth it as a once in a lifetime experience.
