no i was hoping this last time we were there but we werent!! usually it seems they choose people in the front few rows...
It's that guy!!!!!
I haven't been featured before but I have had two of my text-in jokes used before. A guy sitting next to me was featured once, towards the middle right of the theatre, and it scared the livin' daylights out of me because I thought it was me. I froze and got the chills because I was so concerned about it haha!
No, but you must be "that guy".
I was once when the Two headed monster asked what state your from and she sang a song about PA and called me her big handsome man lol it was funny
My dad was "That Guy" the first time we went to Laugh Floor, he was beat red! It was too funny :-)
We have been twice:
1) I submitted a joke via text and they used it (Why did the mouse cross the road? Because he wasn't a chicken!).
2) They zoomed in on my step-son and made some sort of comment on his hair... can't for the life of me remember what it was though.
I have been Mike and Sulley on sperate trips. It seems that people in the seats near where they have the decorative lights (on the seat backs) get picked more than those on the edges (on the sides and back). Also, the left side of the audience seems to be picked more often in the shows that I've been to.
My best friend and I had matching mouse ears and they asked if we were a two-headed monster. She said no and I said yes haha, and I don't remember what else we talked about.
My wife was picked once and she had to make an alien sound. My youngest daughter was zoomed in on while she sitting in my lap on our trip in '08 and she was called Daddy's Little Monster. They have no idea how true that statement is.
I was actually "Needs a hug" up on the screen in the theater during the pre-show on our trip with the kiddos back in July of '07. Both DD's were sittin' on either side of me and gave me a big hug...we got a big "Awwwww!" from the audience...! :D
Don't really know if it would be considered an honor or not to be "that guy", actually?! :inquis:
I got put on the screen and the subtitle said "will buy everyone churros". My son wore the big Happy Birthday Cake hat on his birthday one year and they put him on the screen. I dont remember what they said about him. And my son has had several text jokes used in the show.
