Solo to DLR

I'm in Southern California on business for two weeks and decided to make my first solo Disney trip this weekend to DLR & DCA. I never would of thought of going solo until reading posts about other solo trips. looking forward to a slow trip where I can really appreciate all the details.

I did DL solo (along with DLP), both of which were my first and only visits. I think you'll do better making your solo trip on a first visit because you can explore at your own pace. No need to drag a family around when you don't know where you're going. Plus, you can ride/re-ride/skip anything you want without worrying about anyone else. Enjoy!

Have FUN!!

Went to DL/DCA last year for a day (well, half a day noon-midnight) and it was fun, we didn't even get to see and do everything.

Definatly ride the Matterhorn, Dumbo, and Space Mountain! At DCA make sure you do California Screamin and the Ferris Wheel (neither of which we were able to do cause they closed it during WOC!)

We went to DLR in 2010, so I'm familiar with it. I'm most looking forward to looking for all the details I missed last time.

I actually like it better than M.K. But I like wdw better than dlr.

Crazy crowded at DLR today, spent most of the day at DCA. Did manage to catch SunSational parade, Wishes, and Fantasmic at DLR while still making it to World of Color at DCA plus everything I wanted to do at DCA. Will make rope drop at DLR tomorrow to get a jump on the crowds.

What a great day today. Arrived at rope drop and avoided crowds all day. Soundsational parade was terrific and Star Tours 2.0 is phenomenal. While DCA was just okay, I really loved Disneyland. I still prefer WDW as my home vacation destination, but Disneyland was definitely worth the price.
