Epcot Seas Pavilion to Add FASTPASS

The Seas with Nemo and Friends pavilion at Epcot is in the process of adding Fastpass to its exiting queue setup – or so we’ve been told. This does jive well with comments made previously by Epcot staff that the park will bring another Fastpass attraction online over the summer to accommodate for the closure of Test Track April-September this year. Here’s a lovely photo of the new refurbishment walls for your viewing pleasure:

All that I have read says Nemo, either way neither seem to be in need of a Fastpass. I'm doubting the same type of Guest would in lieu of Test Track take a Fastpass to the Sea's pavilion.

For a while it might be a climb on SSE, a quick sail on the Land and maybe Soar'n and be off to the World Showcase. There sure isn't much of a draw to Epcot in the daylight hours anymore. They really need to open the World Showcase at the same time as Future World 'cause there isn't enough to hold a guest there from the opening rope drop 'till the Showcase opens. What a shame.

Maybe it's a Fast Pass to get OUT of the Nemo pavillion. That's something I could easily get behind.

Didn't they also have FP for Honey, I Shrunk...?

Seems like they're somehow trying to top the absurdity of having FP for stitch's Great Mistake.

They'll probably just move the fast pass machines over from the Muppets and It's Tough to be a Bug.

Given SSE's queue there's no way I can think of to FP that (and no need either). Why not just set up FPs to check out the second floor of Imagination, the WoL pavillion, or the giant sinkhole Horizons fell into instead?

Make it part of the Disney Archeological tour package.

SUCH a bad idea. I could understand if it is for Turtle Talk, but even that isn't very backed up!

Maybe they should spend the money on making future world, I dunno, more FUTURE maybe?

Me too. I always enjoyed walking through the old queue. So many interesting things to look at: posters and displays. It was neat.

They very first time we went in since they rebuilt the sea cabs, it was a pretty long line. But since then it has been a walk-on - you just have to walk through all the switchbacks, etc.

Which is a shame, because the themeing is amazing. If you stop to look at it, the family behind you gets angry. You can start letting people get ahead of you, but then you look like a nut for pausing for so long.
