How weird.
It's creepy seeing anything that empty in Epcot. I too, would love to know what management is thinking about the way they are handling this situation.
The Test Track saga continues and takes even more strange twists and turns. Josh from EasyWDW reports on the odd happenings in Future World:

The whole situation is completely bizarre. And "renewal"...huh??? That just irks me.

I rode Test Track on Sunday about 530pm. The lines were pretty short for TT.
Returned to Epcot in the Early Afternoon and TT was all boarded up. Two higher level CM's standing guard over the wooden wall. About every minute a new family would walk up and be surprised it was closed.
I stood and watched for a few minutes as CM's offered up other attractions that would be a good substitute.
Guest relations was pretty empty and most just looking for dining options. In the evening guests were still showing up at TT being greeted by a different group of CM's.
Went to ride Soar'n, there was no indication that it would remain open and wondered if it was just a bad rumor. It was definitely a don't ask they wont tell situation.
By late morning Space Ship Earth was broken down for quite a while on Monday, which didn't help. During the entire evening the Maelstrom was also down.
At the moment WoL is open for the Flower and Garden Show.
Some people are like Slinkies.
They aren't really good for anything,
but they still bring a smile to my face when I push them down a flight of stairs.
Friends are Gods way of apologizing to us for our families.
That was a great post.
