Little Mermaid attraction
I saw some pictures of the new Little Mermaid attraction and was wondering if anyone knew if the attraction has an opening date estimate or has heard any rumors of a date. We will be in the World the middle of November and am keeping my fingers crossed it may be open then. Thanks!!
Re: Little Mermaid attraction
Grand opening is Dec 6. And I know there are AP preview dates in mid-ish Nov.

Re: Little Mermaid attraction
Previews are starting around November 19 for AP holders (lucky for me) and the official is December 6... I wouldnt be surprised if they let people in a little bit getting closer to that 12/6 opening...

Annual Passholder Dates:
[FONT=Century Gothic]Beginning on October 8, 2012 at noon, those interested can log on to the Walt Disney World’s web site, AP section to register for a specific 3.5-hour time slot.

5:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
Saturday, November 10, 2012
8:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
12:30 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
5:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
Sunday, November 11, 2012

12:30 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
5:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
8 passholders can be registered at same time but all attending must have passes that have been activated. Upon signing up, passholders will choose one of two New Fantasyland preview itineraries:
Beginning on November 19th BoG will be opened to all guests along with previews to the bulk of the attractions. The official Grand Opening still is targeted for December 6th but it does appear that with the AP special preview earlier in the month, non AP guests will have some opportunities to visit FLE from November 19th on.
It is rumored that to coincide with the AP Preview dates BoG will go into soft openings to prepare Cast Members for BoG's Opening on November 19th. So if you are going to be in the parks prior to November 19th be on the look out for sporadic BoG soft openings.

Posted Today on AP section of WDW website:
"We are experiencing technical difficulties with the Annual Passholder New Fantasyland preview sign-ups that have made it necessary to delay the sign-up date one week. The Walt Disney World Annual Passholder New Fantasyland preview sign-ups will now begin on Monday, October 15 at 12:00 noon Eastern Time."
Re: Little Mermaid attraction videl
I posted a video of the ride from last night's Halloween party. Fantasyland is in "dress rehearsal" periodically this week only and we got to walk onto the ride last night and it was amazing. My youtube channel name is cindymouse6. I don't know how to find the URL and post it... so go browse. It was stunning. the video doesnt do the ride justice! My girls giggled all the way thru the ride!

Re: Little Mermaid attraction
If this is similar to the one at DCA than I'll say it's nothing earth shattering but it's a cute ride. Little kids especially girls will love it.
