We went to the MNSSHP on 10/8 and the Headless Horseman did not ride. Not really sure why. It was a little disappointing because we love to see the Headless Horseman start the parade.
Has anyone heard about this and why the Headless Horseman didn't ride? Just curious.

Did you go to the second parade? I saw on the Orlando Sentinel website that during the earlier parade on the 8th the horse fell as it was turning into Liberty Square. Even though the horse jumped back up and the horseman was walking around immediately after, they chose to hold them off of the second parade to ensure there were no lingering injuries that didn't present right away. There's actually a video of it up on the Sentinel website. Scary!
