Which park should we visit first?

Hi, In August we're arriving for our first WDW vacations. We will arrive at late afternoon/evening. Which themepark should we visit that day? I really would like it to be overwelmed by Disney magic the first day.

I would have to say the Magic Kingdom. It's truly is the classic, most "magical" place in all of WDW. There's nothing like walking in first thing in the morning and seeing the Castle, Main Street, etc. Truly a wonderful experience.

I hope it will be possible to see Wishes the first night. Is it right after Spectromagic? At what time? Where should we be and how long in advance?

I have only seen wishes 1 time, but I would say anywhere on Main Street close to the Castle is great. P.S. I would also reccomend Illuminations at EPCOT.

We try to watch Wishes on the path to Tomorrowland. There are a few benches if you get there early and the view is outstanding, especially if you want to see Tink. Ditto on doing the MK first.
