My wife and I love the acrobats at the China pavilion. We were wondering where do they live while at WDW and how long is each group in this country? Any information will be greatly appreciated. :wave:

Jiminy...I have no idea on the answer to your questions, but I agree. We were really captivated by their performance this summer! And they were so young!
I would guess that they live in the local area witth their families and/or their coaches/guardians, etc.
If you think they are spectacular, you should see the young Asian acrobats and twilers in Cirque Du Soleil! They're absolutely incredible!!!

I hope I don't burst any bubbles by posting this, but we bought the Cirque program and Mr. iwannabeminnie was reading it one evening and asked me how old I thought those cute little Chinese girls were. I guessed 6 or 7, not older than 8. Well, blow me down and pick me up, if they aren't all in their teens!
That's a whale of a tale!! ;) I, too, thought these incredibly giftend and talented young girls were much younger.
I can honestly say that I'm not a huge Cirque fan. During my Vegas trip last year I witnessed my first Cirque show 'O'. Of course it was a show centered around water (eau), and it was interesting for the first half an hour or so... ....But 2 hours later with no intermission, it was wearing a little thin.. I mean how many different ways can you dive into a pool? :)
To make matters worse, I think that the air conditioning was broken and the 97F outside temp felt extremely cool after the show. I decided that night that the American translation 'O' must have stood for "O man, it's hot in here... O heck, what is going on?" :-p
Don't blow off La Nouba just because you didn't like O. La Nouba is only 1-1/2 hours and my whole family was mesmerized by it. Hubby, me, son 24, son 22, and daughter 18. 22 year old said it was awesome and he doesn't like anything (hey Mikey).
Having seen about 5 different Cirque shows, I have to say that La Nouba ranks up there with the top two. (Zumanity was by far the worst... Don't even ask), while Mystere and La Nouba are up there in the top two spots.
I agree about "O". Although I enjoyed it quite a bit, I did not think it matched up with the others. In fact, I'm going to see Mystere again (4th time) in a few weeks when I go to Vegas, baby.
