Have never stayed in the park that late! What time does it get dark in August? And when do the parks close?

My favorite ride at night in the MK

would have to be Big Thunder Mountain, although I love WEDway anytime and now after reading 2tinners I want to go to the HM

Big Thunder Mountain would have to be my favorite. Especially when they have the fire going on Tom Sawyers Island, I love that. I was close to saying Splash Mountain but there is just not enough of ittat is outside for me the drop is great but it you get a view for like 5 seconds and then its done.

Awesome glittery pics y'all! I have never ridden any rides @ night, I'm gonna do that next time I go to WDW-it sounds fun! Esp Splash, HM, Pirates, Test Track, Big Thunder, anything outside! Splash Mountain, coming to the top of the big drop and seeing the castle all lit up and fireworks in the sky

I would say Splash Mountain, especially if you just happen to time it as the first firework from Wishes comes over the castle as you go over the drop. It makes you say "oooooh aaaaaAAAAAH!!!!"

I love getting to the top of the big drop on Splash Mountain and looking across and seeing Space Mountain and the castle all lit up right next to each other just as you take the final plunge.

Even though its not in MK, I also love Tower of Terror at night, it makes it more spooky.

I voted Splash Mountain. I have great memories of the DWT girls trip plus Tampa, all of us riding on Splash Mountain over and over again, it was quiet, except, you know, when we were screaming!!!
