i look for pins of my favorite Disney attractions, celebrations, and characters. I love pin trading!!!
i look for t-shirts and baseballs too
Noah Where Magic Lives "its a glorious three hour finale I call A Tribute to all Nations but Mostly AMERICA!" "Now approaching Tomorrowland's Space Mountain"
I collect pins, mainly just characters or attractions that are my favorites. I also like home decor type things, specifically Haunted Mansion.
Sunny "Reality: That annoying thing between Disney trips!"
I like to buy a couple pins here and there...mostly though I buy stuff from the World Showcase
Disney World is not just a place, but an experience.
Back in the world for the 2013 Marathon Weekend!
I love to hunt for Mickey Jewelry
Man, what don't we buy. We do the pressed pennies of course. My daughter does the pin trading and so do I, sort of. I mostly like to buy the pins, not trade. I don't go for anything specific, just whatever catches my eye. I have a couple of Pirates pins. I do like collecting the Castle pins. I have one titled "Partners" and it's the Castle with the Walt and Mickey statue in front of it. That's my fav. I have Cinderella's coach even though I'm not a big Cindy fan. I loved the coach pin, though.
I love buying things in the World Showcase and Animal Kingdom. My mom goes crazy in the stores in Africa. She likes the woven baskets and bowls. She dropped several hundred dollars there last year but got some really neat things. We love the stores in Japan and China. I like Morocco, Mexico and Italy.
I try to get things I can use outside of the world. I got a backpack last time we were there as well as that Mickey Mouse bottle holder. I love that thing!
We usually just buy whatever catches our eye!
Anything with any disney character(Mickey especially) and something to do with the fire department. I got a great picture last trip of Mickey and a firefigter touching hands.
We usually buy t-shirts. I bought a bag the last time we there to make carrying things we bought a whole lot easier. I'm asked all the time where I got the bag....one would think since it says Walt Disney World with the characters on it would give it away but I still get asked. I'm sure this year going for the first time with our kids we will definitely have a few more souvenirs to bring back.
I'd like to start getting some of the pins.
Staying on site this year
Previous trips 1986 & 2003
PINs I love them alot. I have so many. I also like the globes. I have two small globes. The big globes are just to expensive.
The last time I was there I bought two pins (the rose from Beauty and the Beast and a Tinkerbell cameo style one), a Disney photo album, pop-up books from MGM, princess figurines for my mum, sweets for my Nana, Pluto dog biscuits for my dog and a baseball for my brother. Can't wait to go back, browsing the shops is one of the best ways to end a days theme parking!
Balls as in WDW Baseballs!!
"Most of my life I have done what I wanted to do. I have had fun on the job.
I have never been able to confine that fun to office hours." ~ Walt Disney
I usually don't buy stuff for myself but this trip I brought a cool Tinker Bell sweatshirt! It's officially my new favorite sweatshirt!
First Trip- Jan. 07, POFQ Second Trip- May 08, Pop Century
Me- Very simple. I get a Polo or sweat shirt with a WDW logo on it, a cap (which ever one looks the best on my head) and a different plush character. Every trip.
Wife- Shirts cut for women only.
Son- Sweat or T-shirts, Star Wars stuff, pins and pennies.
Daughter- All things Tink.
Walt is the man, Mickey is the mouse but Minnie is THE WOMAN
I'm always looking for that something that's different. haven't found it yet though. Usually get at least one Mickey shirt. We always get a new picture frame. My kid's collect pins and pressed pennies. Though I have to admit I have a Mickey pressed penny in my wallet, why I don't know. And gotta get a new Mickey tie.
When you wish upon a star..... LAUGHTER IS TIMELESS, IMAGINATION HAS NO AGE AND DREAMS ARE FOREVER. Adults are only kids grown up, anyway. WD ...That's the real trouble with the world. Too many people grow up. WD
