Hey, While down there AK had late night extra magic hours. It was open until 11:00 PM! The safari was even running until 7:30! I couldn't believe it. I couldn't ride Everest (obviously) but the youth I was with said it was the most awesome thing EVER!!!
That's cool. Was it only for one day or for the whole time?
I had heard that Disney eventually wanted to keep Animal Kingdom open late, but I figured that would start after they made a few more attractions that could be enjoyed when its dark out (ie. Nemo Musical, Expedition Everest)
wow Summer....I didn't realize that when AK had night EMH's that it was open that late! :wow: Gotta do a little revising on the itinerary now....so some awesome shots of the Tree of Life lit up in the night that someone had taken! :yes:
Awesome. I cant wait to see if they finally extend the DAK operating hours. But I do agree disneydreamer, they would have to add a few more nighttime attractions.
Maybe a nice parade, but a fireworks show would be way too much
