On the other hand, there HAVE been some documented "weird stuff" showing up in Disney movies, correct?
I am in need of some Disney magic!!

My mother-in-law fancies herself as "sophisticated", and she can't understand why we don't go somewhere more "productive" on our vacations.
I've been fortunate enough to have traveled the USA, Canada, and London in my lifetime. Yet, I keep going back to WDW.
I can look at my Grand Canyon pictures anytime I want. But I need to FEEL the WDW attractions, not just watch them.

A lot of people that have never been to Disney World think it is nothing more than your average amusement park. We have Paramount Canada's Wonderland here in Ontario and when I invited my Godmother to WDW for my wedding she politely declined. My mother later said it was because she didn't like amusement parks and couldn't understand why I would get married there(she is an older lady - in her 70's at the time). I wish she had come, we were married at the Yacht and Beach club, she would never have known she was at an "amusement park". She did come to the reception we had at home though.
I remember getting asked where the Back to the Future ride was when I was a CM at World Showcase. I still don't think she believed me when I told her that ride was at Universal Studios, not WDW.
EpcoT International Program June 21-January 21 1991 Resorts we have tried; Yacht and Beach Club (our wedding)-1994 All Star Movies -2004 All Star Sports - 2006 All Star Music Resort - 2008
Coronado Springs -2009

It is always tough when people don't understand. I once had a girlfriend that hated Disney with a passion. She didn't want anything to do with it. Of course you can figure out how that relationship worked out. Actually, that was not the only thing. It is tough, but my significant other now has a small passion for Disney. She enjoys going there almost as much as I do.

All I can say is, I would NEVER wait for 3 hours for anything at WDW!

We did once. Test Track.
Kept breaking down, and restarting. We were halfway through the queue and had never been on it, and it was our last day at the parks.
Was the payoff at the end worth our stupidity?
Debatable, I suppose.

Thing is,if that day was yall's last day,you either had to wait or bypass it til another trip.As big as Epcot is, for me,I think I would have bypassed it,especially since I knew we would be going back the following year. Here's on for ya,my first trip to WDW was in 1987.We did not ride the Astro orbiters in Tomorrowland. My wife and I went back in '90,'91,'and '92, and after that not again until '98 with our girls.Until our girls were big enough to ride Astro Orbiters,my wife and I NEVER rode it until we rode it with our girls! Longevity I guess!LOL!
