Side A always seemed less painful to me. lol
For some reason my back always hurts when I get off from riding on side B.

The two tracks are more or less mirror images of each other, with very few differences. However, like FutureImagineer stated, the one on your right as you walk in (closest to the fastpass line) has the window where you can see the rockets leaving the loading platform. What I like to do is ride the same track a few times in a row, just to build up a sort of familiarity with all the twists and turns and hills, and then just randomly take the other track on one of my next trips, and it feels like an entirely new coaster again. Then the "new" track becomes my favorite for a short time, until I've ridden it enough to get familiar with it again, and then I switch back to the first track. It keeps things interesting I think.

I have fun on both tracks and I alway thought the difference between the two tracks was that they mirrored each other...I like the side with the shortest wait.

I like A because it drops more, and it feels a lot smoother

I have always like Gemini better (by Gemini, I mean B), as it was my first side that I tried out on Space Mountain.

Maybe I'm wrong but doesn't it say in the Disney World Trivia book that the two tracks are called Alpha and Omega... maybe I imagined it? Tell me if any of you guys remember reading that.

I worked there for three years, we called them A side and B side. This was a long time ago when there were two people to a seat and the trains were advanced with floor petals. It was fun.

Alpha and Omega may be the "show" names for the tracks, but we never called them that.

Hmm... maybe I was wrong. Who knows though, there are so many different stories about WDW sometimes it's hard to keep things straight

    Thumbs up

A is definitely better! That track is way less rough, and the track has more excitement, also, this is coming from a WDW expert, so believe what you want, but that is my opinion

If I am at the front they are both too scary. Love been at front of the second car. Last time I rode a woman and her partner behind me just laughed all the way round it was great. Just great fun.
