I read Disney is raising prices across the board again starting tomorrow Sunday 8/6. Second time this year. Do they normally raise prices twice a year?![]()

Cinderella is proof a shoe really can change your life!
I think twice in the same year is unusual for them. Once a year in January was more the norm. Here's some info on the increases from AllEarsNet.com:
Disney Ticket Prices Increase August 6, 2006
Walt Disney World announced an across the board ticket price increase for Magic Your Way and Annual Passport tickets effective August 6, 2006. Water Park and Disney Quest tickets were increased $1 each. Ticket prices were last raised in January of this year.
A one-day one park ticket for persons 10 and older becomes $71.36 with tax from $67.10 with tax.
The price to add on a Park Hopper Option to the Magic Your Way tickets goes from $40 to $45. The No Expiration option also increases in price beginning with Day three, this seems to have the biggest price increase.
New Adult Annual Passport goes from $441.98 to $462.21 (tax included); while the Premium Annual Adult Passport goes from $574.05 to $595.36 (tax included).

Yeesh ...who was it that mentioned something about a 200$ a day ticket if they expanded the monorails. At this point we might get there and no monorail....lol
Disney is really testing our dedication to them. But I guess if you have an addiction you'll find a way to satisfy it.

Don't forget, Disney does have a connection with the common person. They should understand that they want an average person or family to be able to enjoy a day in the park. And don't forget, its not just Disney raising prices. Prices have been going up all accost the board. Inflation has been happening allot recently.
wow, so am i understanding this right? when i go to Magic Kingdom for one day next week it will cost me 71 bucks for the day there? completely worth it, but 71 is still alot for one day
