WDW Theme Parks Discuss Al's toy Barn in the Vacation Planning forums; Tell me, was anyone else dissapointed to see that Al's Toy Barn was just a backdrop photo op.? I was actually kinda hoping it was a real toy store....

    Al's toy Barn

    Tell me, was anyone else dissapointed to see that Al's Toy Barn was just a backdrop photo op.? I was actually kinda hoping it was a real toy store.

    Well, my Niece who at the time was 4, was very disappointed it wasn't a real store!

    it's not a store?

    I've seen this on maps....I thought it was a store! Lol it's a backdrop!? That's a disappointment

    Yes, It would have made a really cool toy store. I can't believe they didn't do it.

    Isn't it amazing? Disney missed an opportunity for a gift shop!!! How rare is that!

    My family has always been disappointed that they didn't do a better job with recreating Pizza Planet, too. The restaurant is there in name and has a game room, but they really could have done so much more with it to make it like the movie!
