We're going to WDW in November, and on Tuesday, November 23, Animal Kingdom is open until 8 pm. Has anyone ever done the Safari after dark?
I'm trying to decide if I want to see this (since the only other time I've know AK to be open this late is New Years Eve) or if I want to see one of the night time shows.
I have never been, but do you think you would be able to see the animals? I've never noticed any lighting.
(By the way, what part of Texas are you from?)

A couple of years ago the Animal Kingdom had night time safaris but with a different story line. Not having been there during that time, I can't recall the story of if the animals were out and about.
I'd give the safari a try at night, just to see what you can see and what the different could be. It's not that often one gets a chance to see the AK at night.
